Taking the time to listen to their concerns is important to me and to them."

"I enjoy my role in helping patients lead a better life. Spending time with them helps me understand more about their lives and what they need to improve their health issues. "I like interacting with so many different people, introducing them to a different kind of medicine and making them feel better," says Libby. "I'm expanding their perspective when it comes to medicine, health and wellness, and opening their eyes to new possibilities. I’m very good at introducing 'newcomers' to Chinese medicine. • Ruby M. Tucker, MD

    MD

Throughout her medical career, Dr. Ruby Tucker has seen first-hand how far a little compassion can go to improve patients' health and well-being. "Patients deserve the best I have to give," she says. "Because I'm responsible for the full scope of their care, I have to have a strong connection with them. I take time to get to know my patients and talk to them about their health, their family and all the other things that concern them. Clear communication, compassion and trust are keys to quality care. When my patients feel comfortable and as if they matter, they are able to achieve their best level of health."
