• Mrs Janie

  Matt and Janie Lisagor are the owners of the Goddard School in Williamsburg. They were born and raised in the Williamsburg area. They have two children ages 31 and 23. Their youngest child attended and graduated from another Goddard School location. They were so impressed by the school they decided to open a school of their own. Janie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Education and a Master’s degree in Education Administration. Janie’s background includes 12 years of experience as a classroom school teacher. Matt earned a degree in Accounting from Old Dominion University. Matt’s background includes over 25 years of experience as a CPA, business owner and COO in the healthcare industry. They are committed to providing the highest quality education and care to the children at Goddard. *First Aid and CPR Certified *Medication Administration Trained

• Mrs Hannah

  Mrs. Hannah is from Virginia, and has been part of the Goddard community since 2011, but joined the Virginia Beach team in August of 2025. She has been working in education and with children for 14 years both in the private and public school setting. She has a bachelors degree in biology from Longwood University, and a masters in education from Liberty University. She is CPR, First Aid, Sleep Safe, and MAT certified. She is a proud member of the new ownership team here at The Goddard School of Virginia Beach.

• Miss Rachel

  Ms. Rachel is proudly from Rhode Island, and joined the Goddard team March 2025. She has a bachelors degree in psychology from Rhode Island College. Ms. Rachel has been in education for 25 years in a plethora of settings and ages. She is CPR, First Aid, and MAT certified. She is a mom to two high schoolers, and loves to travel!

• Miss Dawn

  Ms. Dawn is a Virginia Beach local and joined us in 2021. Ms. Dawn has a Child Development Associate's Degree, and recently completed her CDA. She has been working with children for 20 years and is CPR and First Aid certified. In her free time Dawn likes to go fishing, read, watch movies, and listen to music. She also enjoys watching sports such as football, baseball, and hockey.

• Mrs Heather

  Mrs. Heather is from New Jersey and joined the Goddard team in January of 2010. She joined the Virginia Beach Goddard in July of 2025. Mrs. Heather has an associates degree in liberal arts from Passaic Canty Community College, and a bachelors degree in psychology from William Paterson University. She is CPR and First Aid certified. She is a mother to a Peppa pig loving girl and loves a good book or anything Taylor Swift!

• Mrs Isabella

  Mrs. Bella is from Florida and joined the Goddard team in December of 2023. Mrs. Bella has 5 years experience in childcare and is CPR and First Aid certified. She is also a mom to a monster truck loving son!

• Mrs Kristen

  Mrs. Kristen is a Virginia Beach local who joined the Goddard team in August of 2025. She has 20 years experience in the classroom and as a director, both in church and corporate daycare settings. She has a bachelors in psychology from the University of Phoenix. She is CPR, First Aid, and MAT certified. She is a mom of 2 and loves to read!

• Miss Megan

  Ms. Megan is from Virginia and joined the Goddard team in 2006 and was named teacher of year in 2020. She has an associates degree in Early Childhood development from Tidewater Community college. She has been working in education for 20 years and is CPR and First Aid certified. Ms. Megan is a mom to 3 and enjoys spending time with her family in her free time.

• Miss Missy

  Ms. Missy is from Virginia, and joined the Goddard team in September of 2025. Ms. Missy has over 20 years experience in the classroom and is currently working on her education degree. She is CPR and First Aid certified, and when she is not working here she is concert director/performer!

• Miss Odnamar

  Ms. Odie is from Puerto Rico, and joined the Goddard team in April of 2025. While she is new to working in center based care, she is a mother to 2 and is an incredible addition to our team. She is CPR, First Aid, and Sleep Safe certified, and loves vacationing with her family in her free time!

• Mrs Sharla

  Mrs. Sharla is a Virginia Beach local who joined the Goddard team in September of 2019. She has over 15 years experience as a teacher and a director. Mrs. Sharla has her bachelors degree in psychology from Old Dominion University. She is CPR, First Aid, and MAT certified. Mrs. Sharla is a mom to two kids and loves to garden in her free time!

• Miss Emily

  Ms. Emily is from New York, and joined the Goddard Team in August of 2025. She has 2 years of experience working in a center based daycare and over 150 hours of training. Ms. Emily as also obtained her CDA and is CPR and First Aid certified. When Ms. Emily isn't working she is playing with her puppy!

• Mrs Hilda

  Mrs. Hilda is from the Dominican Republic, and joined the Goddard team in August of 2025. She served in the Navy and has over 10 years experience in childcare from infants to PreK. She is in the process of completing her bachelors in Business Administration from Berkley College and is CPR, First Aid, and Sleep Safe certified. Mrs. Hilda is a mom to 2 boys and has the remedy for everything!

• Miss Kadayah

  Ms. Kadayah, or "Ms. K" is from New York and joined the Goddard team in October 2025. She has worked in both center based and in home daycares for 5 years. Ms. K is CPR and First Aid certified. She is mom to 3 and is always on the go!

• Miss Kara

  Ms. Kara is from Pennsylvania and joined the Goddard family in 2011. She has her bachelors in psychology with a minor in sociology from Old Dominion University. She has worked with children for 15 years and is CPR and First aid certified. Ms. Kara is a mom herself and loves to garden in her free time!

• Miss Machenzie

  Ms. Kenzie is from and joined the Goddard team in October of 2025. While new to center based care, Ms. Kenzie has been a steadfast learner and team member. She is CPR, First Aid, and Sleep Safe certified. She is working to complete her CDA and loves crafting!

• Mrs Mireya

  Mrs. Reya is from California and joined us in June of 2025. She has 4 years experience in a variety of educational settings, from public school, to private daycares. She is CPR and First Aid certified. She is a mom herself and loves spending time with her family when she has free time.

• Miss Yvette

  Ms. Yvette is a Virginia Beach local and joined the Goddard team in September of 2025. Ms. Yvette is CPR and First Aid certified.
